Matt Mathews Omaha Concert reviews
Star Wars in Concert
The Stars Show and concert was absolutely amazing! My 8-year-old son at one point looked at me and exclaimed, "Mom, this is AMAZING!" That was worth all the money we spent on the tickets. The frustration we encountered was with how the overall viewing of the costumes and movie characters was organized and displayed. It was difficult for anyone to see or take a picture given the large number of people passing through. My children were actually pushed aside while I attempted to take their picture in front of a viewing case. The T-shirt stand and viewing stands were placed directly across from each other, creating obstacles in passing through, buying a t-shirt, or viewing the display. Another frustrating aspect was the roaming characters like Storm Troopers. There was no one to manage forming a line for individuals to take pictures. When leaving the show, we were outside and Darth Vader appeared. The woman accompanying them indicated that the line should start with us. As we waited for our turn to meet Darth Vader, the woman directing us walked away, leaving the crowd to fend for themselves. People began taking pictures and pushing their way through. Despite these challenges, we managed to get our pictures and my boys left the experience very happy!
